These life- sized ceramic poultry with their generous stylised lines are made of clay and hand glazed. Each features a graphic, spotted blue and black plumage that contrasts with their little faces. For a stylish interior pair two or more styles together. A family tradition initiated by Heidi Caillard 40 years ago has endured and has made the adorable guinea fowl a classic of its kind. Les Ceramiques de Lussanwas established in 1974 by artisan Heidi Caillard. Her son has managed the small family business since 1994 from Lussan, the picturesque walled medieval village in Provence, France. Les ceramics are formed by hand and painted to a very high standard.
