Created by French master perfumer Michel Almairac, Papyrus Oud / 71 is a fascinating meeting between the ancient traditions of the Middle East and the refined elegance of Western perfumery.

Imagine strolling along the Nile, surrounded by the warmth of ancient stone, the mysterious scent of incense and the richness of precious woods. Then, almost unexpectedly, the sophistication of Paris appears on the horizon.

Papyrus, with its dry, woody character, opens the composition. Chinese ginger introduces a subtle spicy freshness, while Somali incense brings a beautiful smoky, almost spiritual dimension.

As the fragrance develops, musk and oud reveal a deeper, warmer personality, creating a sophisticated and enveloping trail.

There is also a wonderful story behind its creation.

In 2003, Michel Almairac created a celebrated fragrance accord. Years later, he returned to that inspiration, reimagining it with a contemporary sensibility. Papyrus Oud is his interpretation of the past meeting the future, a little néo-rétro, as the French would say.

The result is distinctive, elegant and full of character. A fragrance for those who appreciate craftsmanship, history and the pleasure of wearing something a little unexpected.
